New Superintendent: Dr. Sonia Dinnall Sonia Donell

Dr. Sonia Dinnall is the new superintendent of Springfield Public Schools in Massachusetts. She began her role on July 15, 2024. Dinnall is the first woman and first Black woman to lead the school district. Dinnall has over 30 years of experience in education, including as a classroom teacher, school leader, and administrator. She is a Springfield native and a product of Springfield Public Schools.
